All in the Family - Colorful Creations

Our challenge was to create a layout of our family, so I have scrapped this photo of my family just before we left on our first 'big' holiday together as a family. Now to get the rest of the photos done from the trip. There are so many.

ABC's of Me - Colorful Creations

This months letter was the letter G. I have chosen Gratitude as it is so easy to take things for granted. I remind myself each day of the things I am grateful for.

Tic Tac Toe challenge - Colorful Creations

I enjoyed this challenge, and love the colours I have used. I had some paper put aside for this photo but had never got around to doing it. The thing I love most about challenges is that it motivates me to get my layouts done by a deadline. I think I work best under pressure...lol. The 3 elements I have used from the Tic Tac Toe board was paint, ribbon and flowers.

How many photos on a 12x12 layout challenge - Colorful Creations

For this challenge we had to scrap as many photos from the one event on a 12 x 12 layout. I scrapped some photos I had been meaning to do for ages, so it was a great opportunity to get another layout done.

Pink Black and White Challenge - Colorful Creations

I loved using these colours and it gave me the opportunity to use this photo of my DD posing in her new favourite dress. She likes to wear it every opportunity she can.

Favourites - Colorful Creations

Tabitha challenged us to create a layout about our 'Favourites'. I love poffertjes (mini Dutch pancakes). We often have them for breakfast on the weekends. Perfect with icecream and maple syrup. YUM!

Spring Colour Challenge - Colorful Creations

This challenge was set by Kristie and we were to use green, yellow and white to creat our layout. The photo here doesn't really show the detail of the layout. I have misted the background with pale green and yellow and have ruffled tulle around the large circle. It was really hard to photograph as the misting had mad the page buckle a little. I have made the flower using the Tim Holtz die cut.

Spring Fling Blog Hop Challenges - Colorful Creations

Challenge set by Andrew was to create a Spring themed layout as part of the Spring Fling Blog Hop Challenge.

Colorful Creations - Spring Fling Blog Hop Challenge

I have tried to use all the items listed by each DT member. I have used a butterfly, a flower, ribbon, bling, scrap paper (the strip with the bird cages - left over from a layout our did recently), pearls, a button, paint, lace and I had no twine or string so I used some floss in the button. I love challenges like this as it gets me to use up some things I have had in my stash for ages. Thanks for looking.
