Following are the layouts I have completed for the Summer Blog Hop Challenge at Colorful Creations.
This layout was inspired by the picture above. It was part of the challenge set by Tabitha at Colorful Creations for the Summer Blog Hop Challenge. I just love the colours in the picture and they sorked sell with my Summer holiday pics.
This is the layout I have created using the colour palette provided by Brenshevia at Colorful Creations for the Summer Blog Hop Challenge. Loved using these colours and another opportunity to scrap some holiday pics.
This is my layout for Paula's challenge at Colourful Crations for the Summer Blog Hop Challenge. We had a Tic Tac Toe to follow and I chose The Beach, Flowers and Buttons. Great opportunity to get more unscrapped holiday photos done.
This is one of Fi's colour challenges on Colourful Creations for the Summer Blog Hop Challenge. Loved the colours and they went well with this photos I had from when we went on our cruise in February this year.
Here is a mini album I have made to remember our week away at Lennox Head. I take so many photos when on holidays (well all the time actually..lol) that it is hard to keep up with layouts etc. Mini books are a great way to just use some of the photos and capture some of the memories from that time.
Our challenge was to create a layout of our family, so I have scrapped this photo of my family just before we left on our first 'big' holiday together as a family. Now to get the rest of the photos done from the trip. There are so many.
I began scrapbooking approximately 9 years ago when my son was born. I scrap whenever I can, and make time for an annual scrapbooking retreat to the country for the weekend to catch up with friends. My friend and I take turns in hosting scrap weekends at each other’s houses...although not as often as we would like...LOL.
My main subjects to scrap are my 2 children...Zack and Marnie. They both provide many 'special moments' for me to photograph and scrap. My aim is to create albums full of wonderful memories for them. I love that scrapbooking helps us remember special moments that might otherwise become forgotten over time.
Scrapbooking for me, is about capturing the memories and/or feelings of the moment...it is not about altering my photos to make my children appear 'more beautiful' ...they are already beautiful, just the way they are.
I don't have a particular style and I like to try new things. I am beginning to try out new sketches and challenges.
